Recover unsaved changes in HydroSym

Issue

You closed HydroSym or experienced a crash and forgot to save your changes.

Solution

HydroSym automatically saves temporary versions of unsaved files in a dedicated Rescue folder.

To recover your work:

• Open Windows Explorer.
• In the address bar, enter the following path and press Enter:

%appdata%\PARO\Hydrosym\Rescue

• Look for the most recent file based on the timestamp or file name.
• Copy the file to another location (e.g., your desktop).
• Open the copied file in HydroSym to verify its contents.

Once confirmed, you can continue working from the rescued file.

Tip

It's a good idea to save the recovered file under a new name and location to prevent overwriting any existing versions.
